Summer is a time of movies, so they say. I just all tingly inside from watching some of these trailers. (Claps hands) This holiday season looks prospectively better!
Nothing like a Disney Classic! Considering they left off with that crappy cow movie, I would say this is a very nice come-back. With a new addition to the Princess collection, too. New Orleans really deserves a tribute. And the music is amazing. Exciting!
Bruce Willis + Sci-Fi = Flippin' Awesome. (Continues geeking out elsewhere).
For anyone who has seen Ari Gold flip out on Entourage (admittedly a male-oriented Sex and the City), they know Jeremy Piven will deliver an inspirational performance, no matter how mind-numbingly stupid the premise. Plus, the movie has Dr. Ken Jeong, the country's "Funniest Doctor". Seriously, he has the MD and the comedy club awards to prove it.
For anybody who wasn't completely weirded out by Beowulf or Polar Express, the same director is animating A Christmas Carol. In case you can't tell who modeled for Scrooge, consider who played the Grinch, Ace Ventura, The Mask and a bazillion other outlandish roles.
I thought this was just a joke rumor. PoP as a live action movie? And Jake Gyllenhaal as the main character? Dreams really do come true.
I probably won't watch this because I can't sympathize with Alexis Bledel and her 100 mph mouth and soulless acting. Blame it on Gilmore Girls. I also like how law school is where ppl go when they don't know what to do with their life. Can anyone say "inkling of truth"? I think most of the recent grads can relate to this movie, but it may be too soon to shove it in their face.
Not sure if I already posted "my Sister's Keeper", "Astroboy" and "Where the Wild Things Are"... but yeah, planning on watching those, too.
